HISTORY 

Bishop Duane Greene founded and lead "Fellowship in the Spirit" from 1998 to 2002. The spirit of the Lord lead him to step out and start “The Church Teaching Center” in 2002 with approximately 15 members. Through the teaching of the word and the developing of leaders, his ministry continued to grow and the current space was no longer adequate. After outgrowing the location, in 2004 the ministry embarked on one of its most exciting journeys. God began to stretch the faith of Bishop Greene to go forth with expansion. Through prayer and a prophetic word, Bishop was given a mandate to seek out a new location that would accommodate the growth of the ministry. As a result, The Church Teaching Center moved to 7201 Parklane Road where God saw fit to bless the ministry through the heart of a man, who paid The Church’s rent for an entire year.

While at the new location, God continued to do amazing things. In 2011, God did exceedingly, abundantly above all we could ever ask or think. He showed Bishop Greene and the ministry FAVOR with a seller, bank and man, and made it possible for The Church Teaching Center to purchase its own building located at 141 Fore Avenue, Columbia SC 29229. It is here where we continue to love God’s people, save souls, equip saints and send out disciples.

The Church Teaching Center is here to evangelize, encourage, equipping, and empower people to lead and make an impact in every area of life.

• We see a church passionate for God, passionate for souls and passionate for His purpose in the earth.

• We see our ministry impacting every generation across the world by encouraging, equipping and empowering.
• We see our ministry equipping and empowering people to develop their gifts and using them to bless others.
